I do Mac

As you might know, since I mentioned it on my About page, I am a Mac user. But I am also a Windows user, still. My main machine is a PC, and I have a MacBook.

So I heard Internet Explorer 8 got released. I have always been an Internet Explorer user. I do not like Firefox at all. But since I got a Mac, I use Safari on my Mac AND on my Windows machine. And I’m loving it.

For no real reason, I thought I would install Internet Explorer 8, just to see if it was any good.

I ran the installer, and it asked me if I wanted to reboot (which was recommended) or do a reboot later. So I did a reboot, why not! So the PC is rebooting. The BIOS comes by, Windows is starting. And there is it, a blue screen of death (BSOD).

Thank goodness, this was just this one time. I find Internet Explorer 8 silly and too much buttons and bars and what not. And than there is the “revert back to Internet Explorer 7” option. That is just… stupid (I can not think of a politer word for it).

Windows seems alright with Internet Explorer 8 in the background. I will just stick to my Safari.
